I was inspired by the mask we use with each other. The jewel is a pair of theatre spectacles with each side having a figure from Greek mythology Baucis et Philémon. This was a country couple deeply in love and changed into a tree by the gods for having given shelter without knowing it to the disguised Zeus et Hermes.

Chess seems to appeal mostly to men. If there was a lovely reason to play - like adorning themselves with diamonds - I am sure women would be the best chess players in the world. Chess is definitively a "You" and "Me" game, because it requires two players. Here the feeling is one of glamorous rivalry.

Your hand in mine MIOARA-FULGA BUDA (Romania)
Taking the hand of a loved one is one of the most wonderful things, to feel the skin against yours, to become one through a single touch. I used the form. of the hand because one always wants to hold a lover's hand, to feel the person close, to feel that he or she is yours, to feel that you become one. I took my inspiration from vintage silver filigree medallions. I used filigree because of the care that is necessary to make such a beautiful work of art, the same care that is needed when you take your lover's hand in yours.

The opposing concepts of life and death are the starting point of my design. It is one of the cyclic actions of Nature in fact, although life and death seem opposing and in contradiction. Combine Ganoderma Lucidumes, which are one of the bacteria from plants and are liked in the Orient, and a piece of dead wood to be a technique of expression. The dead wood still has a little bit of energy which is its only spirit. Therefore, Ganoderma Lucidumes will develop in this unusual spirit of dead wood and grow beautifully into a new life. The fresh vigour comes from the essence of death.
Inspired by the "magnetic field" North and South. The North pole is momentum, the South pole is attracted. When the same poles are faced they will push themselves away. On the other hand, when the opposite poles are faced, they will approach each other for balance and harmony. Therefore, the magnet can completely reflect the idea of dualism. East and West which reveals the harmony in contrast, attracting and supporting each other. I therefore use this inspiration through the aesthetics of art to create a contemporary jewellery item, a balance between the inspiration and the ornament.

Recently I ran into a picture that showed a girl carrying firewood in the desert of Africa. Walking in a perfect, almost royal way, it seemed she was doing her job. The little branches she collected were held together in a way that made it more comfortable for her to carry. In her way, walking alone in the desert, she gives shape to the theme of you and me. She takes care of the one part, the other person takes care of the other (for us invisible) part.

Inseparable JUNG-MEI WOU (Taiwan)
This work was built on the concept of the interaction between man and nature and the concept of love for all things. Human beings should regard the universe as precious and harmoniously coexist with it in order to achieve ecological balance. As Lao Tzu’s philosophy advocates, yin and yang support each other to achieve the endless cycle of a harmonious balance. The artist gets along with her precious birds day and night; there is no cage to barricade them. Because of mutual trust, the barrier between the birds and the artist is no longer there and thus the creations of the work Inseparable were born. The ring is shaped into the bird’s favorite summer lotus pond. It is integrative shaping, just like the cursive of calligraphy, turning the lustre of the platinum into the beauty of the lotus, which is reflected in the water during twilight hours. When wearing the ring, the gesture of the hand can naturally become a bird-rest. The ring looks like a floating lotus leaves. Therefore, people can interact with birds and they can accompany each other. As an avid bird-lover, I observed various gestures of birds and embossed the image of birds reflecting in the water on the platinum for reproduction. Hoping for lifelong companion, the artist created a heart-shaped brooch.
